Introduction
Being naturally gregarious, I love meeting new people and making friends. My interests are too many and too varied to list them all; they include art, jazz, history, antiques, restoration, cats, gardening, knitting, beading, junking, & reading.
What's your favorite needlecraft? Materials? Current projects? Level of experience?

I LOVE knitting! I would NOT have survived evacuation were it not for knitting. Scarves and hats are all I have made to date but look forward to learning new patterns & discovering new materials. Knitting is just so much FUN for me!

  •  Hi Georgia. I live in Ponchatoula and saw that you love scrapbooking. We are having a huge crop in Hammond on Oct. 10th and 11th. Check us out at www.cropcelebration.com. We would love to have you!

  •  I still cannot contact Lee. I have called her cell phone and left messages and left e-mails with no response. All I can do is post another message about the location of the meeting and hope that everyone sees it. I will also post my cell phone number in case anyone needs to call for directions to Mojo's. I will contact the "meetup" people to see what we can do about maybe appointing another organizer. I don't know what else to do about that part of it.

  •  Prince Charming sounds cute, but you don't have to do that. Socks are pretty forgiving, and doing them toe-up you can increase or decrease when you are just starting the foot. Go for it. P.S. I have upon occasion given socks to Gloria that were too small for me. I haven't seen her wearing them, so what the heck. I enjoyed making them, and that's what it's all about, right? Have you priced socks at Wal-Mart? I mean, if you really want a pair of socks....
