Introduction
I started knitting again in Jan. of 2006. My stepmother, an occupational therapist, taught me how to knit when I was eight years old, and I kept at it for about a year. I am an advanced beginner & want to conquer my fear of cables and buttonholes!
Tell us about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take? Who introduced you to your hobby? Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

A scarf, out of Queensland Katmandu Aran. It took me maybe two weeks. I like to knit in the living room of my townhouse because the light in the afternoon is so nice and I have a fireplace! Good Meetup Spots: Third Place Ravenna or LFP.
