Introduction
I learned to knit from my mother when I was in nursery school. I did it on and off (mostly off) for years. Now I am an addict of spinning and knitting.
Tell us about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take? Who introduced you to your hobby? Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

I don't remember my first project. (I was 3 or 4.) My mother taught me; she could knit Arans from the pattern in her head. My favorite place to knit is sitting down. Don't have any suggestions for meeting places.
