Introduction
Hi! I am so excited to find this group. IMHO, knitters comprise some of the friendliest folk in the world. I have been knitting since the early 80' with some significant breaks when kids were small. I must confess that I now have an addiction to yarn
Tell us about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take? Who introduced you to your hobby? Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

My 1st project was an ill-fated scarf that I tried in the 70's. My cat peed on it and I just couldn't get back into knitting it after that. Go figure. I got really involved with knitting when I had a job where everyone was a knitter.
