- Hello, I have been crafting all my life, started knitting in 2005, I enjoy knitting with other people to gain inspiration and to challenge myself. I am excited to belong to a knitting group.
- Tell us about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take? Who introduced you to your hobby? Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

My first fiber project was a crocheted baby blanket for my niece in 2004, it took a few months to finish and turned out great. Next, I crocheted a scarf for my DH, where I experienced gauge problems and the yarn was unpleasant. I learned knitting next, made my DH a hat and scarf, along the way, I have knitted for myself a hat and many scarves and worsted-weight socks. I am continually working on cotton dishcloths to continue my grandmothers legacy and just started a unpattern shell in silk/cotton blend, yum yum! The shell will be my most difficult project to date.
