Chat, swap tips and stories, eat, drink, be merry and knit!
We meet:
(but don't be put off if any of this is not suitable for you [SEE BELOW*])
- from 18:30 to 21:00 (some people turn up later, some leave earlier).
- fortnightly Thursday/Friday (ie once in a four week period it's on a Thursday, once it's a Friday);
- in the weeks between those of the London Crochet Meetup (http://knitting.meetup.com/1271);
- in the Waterstones Piccadilly basement cafe (central London seems best for our widespread membership).
Bring:
- your current knitting project or a new project to start and we can give you some help or tips; or
- if you are a complete beginner bring a pair of 4mm needles and a 50g ball of Double Knit (DK) cotton (you can get these from any yarn shop, eg any major branch of John Lewis - mail the group for further info)
*We're a very democratic group and have always had an understanding that all members should feel free to suggest alternatives to these and if enough people agree then we can change them, or even consider having regional "chapters" that meet at additional other dates/ times/ locations.
