Welcome, New York Knitters!

Upper East Side Knitters is for you if you're looking to connect with other knitters who are as passionate about yarn as you are. The great thing about our group is that by meeting regularly you will get to know other members well.

We meet on Tuesdays or Wednesdays every 1-2 weeks usually in the East 60's-80's. We also have special events such as Stitch n' Pitch, Pedicure Parties and Yarn Swaps.

Membership in the group is currently restricted to knitters who live and/or work on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in order to create an active community. See our "About Us" page for other restrictions on group membership.

If you've never been part of a knitting group you'll soon discover all the benefits:
1) You will get more accomplished since you will be dedicating a few hours every month to sitting and working on your projects without any distractions.
2) If (ok, when) you make mistakes there are other knitters there to help you out.
3) Get inspiration from seeing what other group members are working on.
