Glasgow Knit 'n Stitch is a socially-based group that brings together all sorts of people from all over Glasgow and the surrounding areas to share their passion for yarn, needles and hooks.

We're a crafty bunch, ranging from beginners to experienced and although most members are knitters, we're very happy to include all kinds of textile art at our meetups.

We meet regularly at least twice a fortnight - regular meetings are currently on Sunday afternoons and Tuesday evenings - but all members are welcome to suggest additional meetings in any venue so long as they don't clash with things already arranged. Just contact any one of the Organisers Group and they can arrange to schedule your suggested event.

The goal is to provide a friendly atmosphere where we can all share in the pleasure of stitching, as well as help each other with a technique, a pattern or project, a yarn swap - and of course provide an appreciative audience to show off your finished projects. We get it, there's no need to explain !

Membership of our group is FREE - thanks to the kind sponsorship of "Stitching Time" who are based in Haddow Street, Hamilton.

If you are interested in learning how to knit and/or crochet for the first time, so long as we have advance notice that you'd like to learn at a meetup, there will probably be someone who can help you get started.

Our events so far have all been for adults but if there's enough interest, it's possible we'll organise some Parent 'n Child meetups in the future.

So why not RSVP "Yes" to one of our scheduled events ? We promise we don't bite ...... although we do carry sharp, pointy sticks .....
