Would you be interested in taking part in a alfghan square exchange? What fibre would you profer?

An Alfghan square secret swap..... would you be interested in taking part in this and what fibre would you profer? The way it would work is you put your name forward, saying what your colour preference is. ie. warm/cold/autumn/natural etc. There would be a close off date each month to put your name forward when you wish to take part. Members would then be matched up so they know whom they are knitting for but not who is knitting for them ;) Once you have collected enough squares sew them up to make a lovely alfghan throw/blanket/bag etc. to treasure that will always remind you of your friends from Knit n' Stitch. A size will be decided for the squares. The pattern used is up to you, choose something simple or complicated, multi-coloured, lace or textured. Yarn to be used should be double knitting. Patterns can be provided if needed.
