This group meets to spend time knitting and crocheting at the Walter Reed Community Center. This is not an instructional group. Bring your current project and meet your Arlington neighbors.The address of the Walter Reed Community Center is 2909 16th Street South, Arlington, VA 22204. It is located near 16th Street South and South Walter Reed Drive, just south of Columbia Pike and South Walter Reed Drive. The group meets in a multi-purpose room. The person at the front desk can direct you.
Time: 1pm to 3pm
Dates: 1st & 3rd Sunday every month
The center and group have a few rules:
1) Light snacks and beverages from home are fine. Vending/soda/water machines are available at the center.
2) No smoking, pets or alcohol.
3) Children under 11 years of age must be supervised at all times by someone over the age of 18 (i.e. an adult).
4) Children 11 or older can use the center's facilities (i.e. pool table, air hockey, gymnasium, etc.) without adult supervision
5) Children who knit are welcome in the group. They do need to have someone 18 or older with them if they are under 11 years of age..
