In case you haven't heard of it, it's the biggest and best clothing swap, sewing/DIY event ever. You basically take a bunch of clothes (some people have even brought fabric) you don't want, and choose from hundreds of items that other people are discarding. Then, you take it to one of the artist workstations and they will teach you how to alter, reconstruct and screenprint your finds (or if you're not confident, they will do it for you.) I went in 2006 and I got a really hot babydoll dress made out of a giant muu-muu, in addition to some really cool vintage sweaters and a custom-screenprinted tee.

I will add more details to this event as it gets closer, let's just make some plans for it now.
