Introduction: I've just recently re-discovered my love of knitting and have already hung out with a few of you at LYSs and friends' homes...looking forward to sharing projects, tips and meeting new friends.
What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?: I'm beginning to feel a sock addiction coming on, but I have also just learned how to knit lace. Most of the items I'm currently knitting will be given to charity or sold to raise money for Empower. (another charity org)
How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?: Ahhh. I started quite young but put down my needles for many years. I have just rediscovered the joy and am relearning quite a bit.
What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?: Cables, knitting sweaters, more lace, more socks and supporting local eco-friendly fiber companies.
How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?: I learned from my grandmother and step-grandmother.
