Introduction: Hi! I am new to the area and looking to make some new friends while engaging in my favorite past-time.
What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?: My favorite thing to knit is purses, I am a felting fanatic. I keep them, give them as gifts, and have donated them to silent auctions for charity.
How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?: I learned how to knit about 3 years ago. I love cables and dpns.
What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?: I would love to learn how to do intarsia. So far I just haven't had the patience.
How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?: I originally learned from my bestest bud since first grade after she taught herself. Since then, it has been a bonding tool with my grandmother and I've even taught my father. He lives in Wisconsin and calls for knitting advice at least once a week!
