Introduction
G'day all! I'm Lynne from Melbourne, Australia, moved to Campbell via Fort Collins, Co. I love knitting, spinning, dyeing fleece and yarn, gardening, cycling and don't have a car! I'd love to talk to fellow crafters :-) I'm yarnivorous on ravelry
What kind of objects do you like to knit? Do you keep 'em, sell 'em or give 'em away?

I knit mostly socks, some shawls, garments, hats, scarves. Some I can't bear to part with, some I gift to people who I hope appreciate them!

How long have you been knitting? New enthusiast or old hand? What are your favorite knitting techniques these days?

I've been knitting since I was a kid. I tend to knit socks toe up, turkish cast on, magic loop. I try to knit as much as I can in the round to avoid seaming. LOL

What is one topic you want to learn more about in knitting or fiber arts, and why?

Dyeing fleece and yarn - I *love* colour. Plus some felting.

How did you start knitting? Who taught you and how did you catch the bug?

My mum taught me to knit when I was 9 or 10. I was a pretty unco kid and she figured it would help my hand-eye coordination. I knitted on and off for years. About 5 years ago I saw a scarf that I just had to have, and the rest is history!

  •  Hi Lynn, It was great touching your knitting at the meetup the other night. It was so soft and yummy!
