Introduction:

"Hi! I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. I own Prairie Arts and Fibers, a new specialty store in Grayslake, in the Prairie Crossing community. We opened March 24, and are pleased to be hosting several groups."

How did you find us?

"I learned about you from Chris and Denise, both members of your group and both of whom work in my shop. I'm really glad to have them!"

What skills or knitting techniques do you want to learn?

"I want to get into garment knitting. Unfortunately, I'm easily bored and LOVE to work with ever-changing colors and textures."

What is your favorite thing you've knit?

"My faves right now are afghans that combine up to 10 different yarns. I don't get bored with them :) and think of them as little works of art."

How long have you been knitting and/or crocheting?

"I learned how to knit from my mom, and I do a weird hybrid of continental both-handed knitting. That's why I don't teach anyone. Then, about 7 years ago, I saw someone making a scarf with some awesome yarn, and picked it up again."
