- Hi, I'm new to Ann Arbor from Kentucky, and just picked up knitting a month or so ago seriously. I would love to learn more, and maybe find a few friends along the way.
- What types of knitting (or crocheting) do you like to do?

So far I haven't ventured beyond a simple garter stitch scarf, and a knit and purl hat knitted flat. I am very interested in socks however, as well as other hat patterns. I also love the concept of felting and am exploring that.
- How long have you been knitting?

A family member taught me when I was about eight, and then my best friend reminded me how about a year ago. I have only been seriously going about it in the past month or so though.
