We'll be meeting again at the Leona's near Belmont and Sheffield - the address is 3215 N. Sheffield. This location is right around the corner from the Belmont Red/Brown line stop.

It seems that their valet isn't free anymore, it now cost $7. There are meters outside on Sheffield, but I'm not sure how easy it is to find parking now that it's getting to be summer!

We will be collecting the $1 meetup fee.

Cost: $1.00

We had a great time at Panera last night, we're going to head back! There was so much space and light, it was awesome! There is also something for everyone: dinner, dessert, snacks, coffee drinks, etc.

Panera is located at 616 W. Diversey. It's easiest to get there using the Clark or Broadway bus, or the Diversey bus from the brown line.

We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee.

Since it was a hit last time, we're doing it again! Join us after work the first Wednesday of the month at Cafe WhaWho?, just a short hop away from the Chicago Brown Line stop. The cafe has a full bar, coffee, small eats and pastry, and last time we got 25% off the apple cobbler!

Please note that this meetup begins at 5:45pm, and that the cafe closes at 8pm. There is also outdoor seating, so if the weather permits, we can knit outside and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine.

This place is easy to get to via the Brown Line or the #65 Chicago bus - it is just west of Chicago Avenue and Wells Street.

We will be collecting the $1 meetup fee.

Please email me if you have any questions or comments, and check the forum on Ravelry for more updates!

There is an extra meetup this month!

Potbelly was a really great so we're going to make it a regular thing!

This Potbelly is located at 924 W. Belmont. It's right off the Belmont stop for the Red/Brown line trains, and it's not far from Clark, either. There is street parking, but I would not count on finding a spot.

The manager is very excited for us to be meeting there. We will ordering off the menu - it will be a bit easier than some places where we have to get a check and then split it all up at the end. The best part? The manager said that we are welcome to grab a drink from the Jamba Juice that is next door and bring it in with us, as long as you buy a sandwich!

We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee.

Cost: $1.00

Noble Tree's Day is moving again. Pie delivery is late on Wednesday, so we have the best chance of getting pie if we come in on Thursday!

We will be on the 3rd floor starting at 6:30. Order your food and drink downstairs and head upstairs with it!

Noble Tree is at 2444 N. Clark Street. You can get to it using the Clark, Broadway, or Fullerton bus. There is street parking, but it can be hard to find.

We will be charging the $1 Meetup fee.

World Wide Knit in Public Day is here!

We're going to be meeting outside the Lincoln Park Conservatory - It's just south of Fullerton on Stockton Drive.

There is parking available at Lincoln Park Zoo, but it can be a bit expensive.

We're going to be there starting at noon, and will be there as long as we feel like knitting. We're going to be north of the farmer's market, so you can grab snacks there or bring something to share. We do ask that you bring a blanket or towel if you don't want to sit on the grass.

Feel free to bring your friends!

Here is me trying to make a map of where we'll be: http://tiny.cc/wwkip

It's here! A venue that has a full bar, coffee, small eats (Julie the owner buys pastries every few days and will take requests! Fruit, cream, chocolate - and she's willing to do a special for us as well), couches and decent lighting.

The meetup will start at 5:45 pm - easy for those already downtown. It's almost literally within spitting distance of the Chicago stop on the Brown Line, just a little west of Chicago and Wells. You can take the Brown Line and the 65 Chicago bus to get there.

Depending on how this venue works out, we'll do this venue every first Wednesday of the month.

We will be collecting the $1 meetup fee.

Email me with any questions or pastry requests, and check the forum on Ravelry for more updates.

Goose Island was a lot of fun last time. If you haven't been in a while check out their new menu!

Goose Island does have a parking lot, but if you take the CTA the closest stop is the Red Line on North Ave.

We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee.

NOTE:
They do include an 18% tip on the bill. For those of us planning to pay with a card instead of cash: you must include tip when you add up your total. Example: if your food plus tax it 10$ and you want to tip 2$ you must write 12$ down, not 10. If you don't, they think the 2$ is an EXTRA tip, on top of the 18% already included.

Cost: $1.00
