Noble Tree is switching from our regular Tuesday meetup to our regular MONDAY meetup! Those of you there last time know that there is a comedy show on Tuesday's now, so we were asked to change our date. They are also switching the day they are getting pies delivered and will take us into account. Noble Tree is located at 2444 N Clark - on Clark, just north of Fullerton. The easiest way to get there is the Clark bus, but the Broadway bus runs right there and Fullerton isn't far away, either. There is street parking, but it is very hard to get. We will have the third floor reserved for us! When you come in, get your drink and/or pie and come on upstairs! We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee.

If you're like many of us, you have a lot of yarn languishing in your stash. Bring yarn you don't plan to use and trade it for something else! (Of course, we'll also knit and chat!) I will send my address to those who RSVP as the event gets closer. I live in Lincoln Park, where parking is difficult. The bus is the easiest way to get here--I'm here the Fullerton stops of the 22, 36, 151 and 156. The El is about 20 minutes away. One quick note for those with allergies: I have two cats. One of them will likely be under the bed while the other demands belly rubs...to the extent that cat behavior is predictable, of course. Hope you can make it!

We'll be meeting again at the Leona's near Belmont and Sheffield - the address is 3215 N. Sheffield. This location is right around the corner from the Belmont stop. (For those of you who drive: they usually have free valet, but I strongly urge you to call ahead to make sure it's free that night!!) We will be collecting the $1 meetup fee. We need photos for our 'About Us' section. This would be a great time to bring a recent FO, a current UFO, or just a piece you are particularly pleased with, for Show-and-Tell.

The owners of the @spot cafe contacted me about our group meeting there to try it out. It looks like a neat place to try, plus they promised us free samples of food and drinks! The hours on the website do say that they will close before we get there, but they are staying open late for us! The closest CTA option is the Chicago (66) bus. They are a few minutes from the Chicago brown line, and a bit more from the Chicago/Odgen blue line. There is the chance that there will be street parking, but there is also parking at 950 N. Kingsbury - $5 with validation from the barista. Please notice that this meetup starts earlier than the rest of our meetups. This one is a lot closer to downtown, and if you work downtown we thought it might be easier to have an earlier meetup!

Potbelly was a really great so we're going to make it a regular thing! This Potbelly is located at 924 W. Belmont. It's right off the Belmont stop for the Red/Brown line trains, and it's not far from Clark, either. There is street parking, but I would not count on finding a spot. The manager is very excited for us to be meeting there. We will ordering off the menu - it will be a bit easier than some places where we have to get a check and then split it all up at the end. The best part? The manager said that we are welcome to grab a drink from the Jamba Juice that is next door and bring it in with us, as long as you buy a sandwich! We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee.

In honor of Pi Day (3.14) we're going to have another baking potluck! It's not mandatory that you make a pie, but I will be! Come on over to my house - message me if you need directions. I’m close to the Clark bus and the Montrose Brown line stop. For those with allergies, I do have two cats. If you RSVP Yes, please let us know what you're going to be bringing (or if you have an allergies)! We will not be collecting the $1 Meetup fee, but the party is BYOB (if you're drinking alcohol).

Sorry for the late notice! Mystic Celt is located at 3443 N. Southport Ave. It is right off the Southport Brown line stop. There is street parking, but it is meters and it can be hard to find a spot. Mystic Celt has some great Monday specials! All appetizers are half off, and all Blue Moon and Smithwicks Pints are $3.50. We will be collecting the $1 Meetup fee. We will be in the back room!
