Introduction: I just moved to Chicago and have decided to try my hand at knitting again. I signed up a class elsewhere but when I found Meetup.com your group by far outshined all the others! I cant wait to meet everyone!
How long have you been knitting?: i learned to knit in 2004 at a college dorm activity. I sort of stopped knitting until i did a harry potter scarf in 2006 for halloween. I recently picked it back up again to have a productive hobby.
Who taught you to knit?: The RA in our dorm, and the girls down the hall from me.
Why did you first get interested in knitting?: everyone was doing it in groups around the dorm, also my grandma knits baby hats for the infants in the hospitals as a hobby and she got me into it as well.

“ I've been doing set design/building for Grease!
It opens this weekend actually. I will be back as soon as I get some free time!!! Oh and I did manage to squeeze in a boyfriend which did take up lthe free time I did have over the last few months. But he's gone now. lol. So once Grease! tech week is over I'll be knitting again. How've you been?
