Introduction
I bought Deb Stoller's first book, "Stitch 'n Bitch: The Knitter's Handbook," in December 2003 and taught myself to knit. I went looking for a S'nB group as a New Year's resolution, couldn't find one, and started S'nB New Haven.
What's your first name?

Karen (aka editorgrrl)

Where do you live? If New Haven, what neighborhood?

downtown New Haven

What's your favorite yarn store?

WEBS, 75 Service Center Rd., Northampton, Massachusetts, 800-FOR-WEBS, http://yarn.com. It's totally worth the drive -- you get 20% off a $60 yarn order & 25% if you spend $120 or more. Road trip!

How long have you been crafting?

I learned to knit in late 2003. Inspired by others at our S'nBs, I've learned a little crochet & cross-stitch. And now I've got a Hello Kitty sewing machine.

What crafts do you do?

Knitting, crochet, and cross-stitch. I want to learn to sew. And embroidery. Maybe tatting.
