Introduction: I am interested in learning how to really knit. As of yet, I have only done scarves. I have been really impressed by items my friends, Ruth and Tom, have been making. By joining a group, I hope to devote more time to creating cool stuff!
For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :): Both a passing fancy and lifelong passion. I go in bursts, I love all crafting...so one month it may be beading, painting and sewing, another it may be knitting and purse making. I can't pin down just one!
If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles, what would you make?: A hammock, a bikini, a picnic blanket, a bed with pillow.
What's your favorite fiber?: Right now, I like making scarves in Eyelash stuff. I don't know if that is a fiber, but that's all I have used!
Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?: I taught myself, but I only know the basics, I am ready to learn more. I have done it perhaps about 6 months total.
