For you, does knitting/crocheting seem like it's going to be a passing fancy or a lifelong passion? (Hint: If you've been doing it for more than 3 years, I think we already have your answer.) :): It's hard to say. I've been crocheting since I was wee. I've been knitting since last summer. I've been in love with fiber for decades. Does that count?
If you were stranded on a deserted island with loads of cashmere and rosewood needles, what would you make?: Loads of beautiful wall hangings to cover the sides of my banana-leaf hut.
What's your favorite fiber?: So far it's soy! So silky and beautifully drape-y.
Who taught you how to knit/crochet and how long have you been doing it?: Granny taught me to crochet when I was five or six. I taught myself to knit at age ten or so, but wasn't coordinated enough at the time to manage two needles and alternating stitches. Picked up knitting again last summer and haven't stopped.
