“ Delightful company; everyone is very helpful and encouraging to knitters of all experience levels. Wide-ranging conversations included job-hunting strategies, apartment recommendations, people's work/family situations, and how/why we became knitters. It's always been my experience that knitters are friendly and warm: this group seems to be no exception, and I'm pleased that it meets every week (but attendance isn't required). That way, if I miss it one week, I don't have to wait until the following month for the next gathering (as is true of the Downtown Knit Collective, whose meetings I also sometimes attend). ”

“ Should actively try and recruit more younger members and a more diverse crowd. Mention the group to daughters, friend's daughters/sons, leave a flyer in knit stores. The bigger the group is, the more the companies and stores will cater to us. Also, emphasize the 10% off. That is attractive to any knitter. K ”
