- I was taught knitting basics by my mother, and discovered I realy love working on complicated things. I pretty much taught myself from there.
- When and how did you come across your particular DIY interests?

Taught to knit by mom in high school, learned to sew by observation as a child. Discovered beading in middle school and taught myself to quilt in college.
- What is your specialty (knit, crochet, craft)?

I do a little bit of everything, but I can't crochet to save my life. Right now I'm working on an extensive lace project. I would like to learn stranded knitting.
