In Stitches is a social group where knitters and crocheters can get to know one another and share their love of yarncrafts. The group is made up of everybody from complete newbies to Guild-certified knitters and crocheters. We're a friendly bunch, and we do at least as much talking as we do crafting! We occasionally do yarn swaps and charity knitting, but you're always welcome to do individual projects and bring whatever you're working on to our meetups. Beginners are welcome at any meetup, unl …
Whether you are beginning or advanced in knitting, this group is for those with a love for knitting and its calming influence. This is an opportunity to use a local, neighborhood cafe, drink tea, coffee, indulge in some treats and knit away. We will expect members to help and advise each other, to socialize and create a caring, learning and teaching environment.
This is a group for anyone who loves to knit or wants to learn to knit. We will work on small projects for donations, particularly hats, scarves and mittens to be donated during the "Midnight Run" over the winter. Beginners welcome, help will be available. Bring your yarn scraps or whatever leftovers you have. I can probably reserve a space in a local White Plains School for an evening once a week. Remembers, scarves are simple and you can easily learn and have fun at the same time!
